Its added value increased from 12 billion yuan in 1952 to more than 30 trillion yuan in 2018, an increase of about 971 times in constant prices and an average annual growth rate of 11%. "At present, China has 41 industrial categories, 207 industrial categories and 666 industrial categories, forming an independent and complete modern industrial system. It is the only country in the world that has all the industrial categories listed in the United Nations industrial classification."
